Who we are Formed and guided by one of the oldest (not by age) and most experienced name in Indian tattooing Sameer Patange and his team at kraayonz aims to be if not the biggest, but at least a brand which practices, the right and ethical ways in the world of Indian tattooing. We provide the highest degree of quality while keeping hygiene as one of our top priorities, to people with a passion to get inked.
There is a very interesting story to how Sameer came up with the KRAAYONZ brand name. Back in 2007 when faced with the eternal question of what next, Sameer decided to go back to his basics. I wanted to establish an independent brand, and when I thought about the biggest influences in my life a silly idea kept popping into my head. My crayons, my very first tool of expressing my artistic side. It was very apparent to me that it was that which could become the identity of my brand. I didn't want something pseudo intellectual, I wanted something that a common man could relate to. So I jazzed it up a bit and the brand Kraayonz was born.
At a little over 8 years Kraayonz has come a long way since its inception with a solid team of 5 artists and 5 apprentices and best tattoo studios in Mumbai, Goa, Bangalore and Pune building a strong clientele base along the way. Our clientele boasts of some of the biggest names in Bollywood including Hritik Roshan and his wife Sussanne, Sunaina Roshan, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Urmila Matondkar, Barbara Mori, Sushmita Sen and her family, Shruti Hassan, KanganaRanaut, Nimrat Kaur, Siddharta Mallya, Virat Kohli, Vishal Dadlani, Sujoy Ghosh, Avduth Gupte, etc.
